City Brew Tours – Social Media & Digital Content Associate – Craft Beer Job Listing

Brewery tours in the city is the leading curator of craft brewery tours in North America. Our team provides unforgettable experiences to over 40,000 people each year, and our tours are offered in 15 different cities across North America.

As the Social media and digital content staff, You will be responsible for two main parts of our marketing efforts: (1) managing our paid and organic social media channels, and (2) creating and coordinating video, photo, and graphic assets. We are looking for a creative and organized individual with a passion for storytelling and craft beer to lead and grow City Brew Tours’ social media presence. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is supported by a Graphic Designer.

They love beer and the craft beer culture and can create content that expresses an expertise and appreciation for that culture. You have excellent communication skills. You have no problem speaking up when you’ve found a better way to do something or when you want to take advantage of a new opportunity.

The Social Media Associate will focus on two main areas:

  • Social Media Management

    • Manage content distribution across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn to increase engagement and website traffic

    • Continuously improve our strategy for paid and organic social media content representing the City Brew Tours brand in line with our values ​​and our short- and long-term marketing goals

    • Contribute to the strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing initiatives to promote City Brew Tours’ brand and corporate initiatives

    • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and make adjustments

    • Stay up to date with industry news and trends related to our brand

    • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry best practices and review competitor social media and digital marketing efforts to compare their activities to ours


  • 1-3 years experience in social media management for an existing brand, including writing copy and producing and coordinating visual content

  • Proven ability to grow social media accounts through engagement and followers

  • Demonstrated ability to create and leverage social media trends (e.g. Reels, Instagram Stories, TikTok)

  • Creativity in designing and selecting content and an understanding of what makes compelling content

  • Knowledge and interest in exploring new avenues for social media growth

  • Proven knowledge of major social media platforms

  • Knowledge of beer and the beer industry, with the ability to communicate the subject in a binding manner

  • Ability to maintain an engaging, cohesive visual aesthetic

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to proofread and edit texts

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Experience with Meta/Facebook Ads Manager

  • Basic technical knowledge of WordPress

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, graphic design or a related field


  • Base salary $42,000 – $46,000 depending on experience

Location: We do business in the following states: DC, FL, MD, MA, MI, NC, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WA. This position is remote, with preference given to candidates who live close to one of our tour locations.
