The successful candidate for the position of Data and Reports Analyst will be responsible for developing and updating reports, primarily in Excel and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. This includes using SQL to extract and manipulate data in MS SQL Server databases. The Data & Report Analyst is responsible for creating and providing price reports for retail products to customers and supports the Pricing Intelligence Team in various customer-related tasks.
The data and report analyst is responsible for the design, coding, testing, and performance analysis of SQL queries and Excel reports. The Data & Reporting Analyst is expected to complete their work on time while ensuring that data integrity and accuracy is maintained. Depending on the assignment, additional tasks may arise.

Responsibilities:

The data and reporting analyst performs the following tasks on a daily basis:

• Create and deliver price reports and insights to clients
• Generate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc basis
• Ensure timely delivery of customer reports and timely notify relevant parties of any delays
• Manage customer inquiries effectively and efficiently
• Coding of customer transactions and products in the BMi database
• Adjust reporting structures according to customer wishes / requirements
• Attend internal / customer / ad hoc meetings weekly
• Daily collaboration with the quality assurance team and the National Field Manager
• Attend regular customer meetings
• Manage customer inquiries effectively and efficiently
• Ensure communication with internal and external contacts / customers on a daily basis
• Organize and participate in meetings, conferences and project team activities as needed
• Action tasks and emails assigned by the manager
• Update the customer’s job specification / field description according to the customer’s requirement / requirement
• Administrative tasks
• Manage weekly pricing projects

• Degree – Bachelor in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics
• At least three years of professional experience
• Understanding of data sets
• Advanced knowledge of Excel – pivot tables, VLOOKUP and formulas / functions
• Analytical (exactly, attention to detail is imperative)
• SQL experience (an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients
• Database knowledge, updating and maintenance of databases
• Responsible for delivering customer reports
