Eastern Michigan University is hosting a walking tour of the COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Saturday

YPSILANTI, me. – Community members still in need of COVID-19 vaccines can visit a walk-in vaccination clinic at Eastern Michigan University on Saturday.

The clinic takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Ballroom A of the EMU Student Center

Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available to anyone 12 years or older, depending on their age, on the EMU Safe website.

First and second COVID-19 vaccine doses and booster vaccinations will be available. If you apply for a booster vaccination, you should bring your vaccination card or a photo of your ID with you.

Anyone 18 years of age or older can get the Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccine or the Moderna two-shot vaccine.

The Pfizer vaccine and booster doses can be given to ages 12 and over, according to the FDA. Pfizer boosters can be given as early as five months after the second dose.

The FDA recommends a booster dose two months after the J&J vaccination and six months after the second dose of Moderna.
