the Marketing / Graphics Coordinator Responsibilities include overseeing branding, marketing, social media, website management, company graphics, offers, and RFP responses. To support the internal focus, the marketing / graphics coordinator will also represent us (in cooperation with the company partners) in order to develop, evaluate and expand strategic relationships as a source for future business.

The candidate who will succeed in this position will be a passionate, design-savvy self-starter who can see the big picture, works well under pressure, wants to connect the company’s vision, has a sense of ownership, and a keen eye for design and detail.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and ensuring high quality, on-time delivery of all marketing-related materials (awards, publications, presentations)
  • Working closely with partners and team leaders to develop RFP responses and related business development inquiries
  • Working with architecture project teams to find, collect and curate relevant materials for project publications (printed and digital)
  • Plan and coordinate project photography
  • Organize and archive all marketing / graphics related materials
  • Maintenance and updating of the official website, social media accounts
  • Author and distribute brochures, newsletters, publications and presentations with relevant project resources and information
  • Experiment with new technologies and platforms to leverage internal and external marketing efforts
  • Manage and maintain marketing / graphics equipment and supplies for graphics efforts – out of the box

Skills and knowledge required

  • Expertise and understanding of the applications of marketing and branding
  • Strong sensitivity to 2D graphic composition (image, color, text, flow)
  • Confidence in the creation of project-related narrative statements that describe projects
  • Marketing and graphics related software platforms including Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Cadd programs, WordPress, social media platforms, database software for business development, etc.
  • Ability to create newsletters, RFP responses, and press releases
  • Knowledge of managing the development of marketing materials, including portfolios, books, catalogs, brochures, and materials for various project pursuits
  • Excellent editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Awareness of market trends affecting the air conditioning industry, particularly commercial real estate development and luxury housing
  • Contacting marketing related organizations, conferences, awards and speaking opportunities that would further create an outside view and understanding of the company
  • Work on tight deadlines to create and submit award submissions
  • Assess and evaluate the strategic benefits of opportunities and partnerships
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in an organized manner
  • Work as a team player and employee in a dynamic working atmosphere
  • Interpolate relevant information from various sources needed to complete a project
  • Multitasking between the many facets of marketing / graphics

experience

  • Five to ten years in marketing for an architecture or design-related area
  • Architecture / design education is preferred
  • Experience working directly for / with commercial development companies is desirable
