We thought it would be helpful to explain how we are tiering our latest education news and how you can get involved and how to read the latest daily continuing education news and how we structure our FE week content:

Main features

Our main features are exclusive and are thought leadership articles and blue sky thinking with experts writing peer-to-peer news articles on the future of education and work. The focus is on solution-oriented thought leadership, the exchange of best practices, innovation and new strategies. These are often articles about the future of education and the future of work, they then often create news articles about the future of education. We limit our main features to a maximum of 20 per week, as they are often about new concepts and new thinking processes. Our main features are also exclusive articles covering the latest education news, perhaps an expert insight into a political announcement or a response to an education think tank report or white paper.

FE votes

FE Voices was originally set up as a section for FE News to give the sector a voice. Since we now have over 3,000 newsrooms and contributors, FE Voices are usually thought leadership articles, they don’t necessarily have to be exclusive, but usually they are, they are a little shorter than Main Features. FE Voices may have more mixed media with the educational news articles, such as embedded podcasts and videos. Our Sector Response articles, asking for different comments and opinions on education policy announcements or responses to a report on a whitepaper, can usually be found in the FE Voices section. If we have a live podcast one evening or a radio show like the SkillsWorldLive radio show, the next morning we put the FE podcast recording in the FE voices section.

Industry news

In industry news, we have a mix of press releases, educational resources, reports, educational research, and white papers from a number of contributors.
