Quinnipiac University Releases New COVID-19 Logs – NBC Connecticut

Quinnipiac University has updated its COVID-19 logs. As of today, fully vaccinated people will not be required to wear masks indoors and outdoors, but those who are not vaccinated will still have to wear masks indoors.

The school will return to normal capacity for classrooms, events and athletics and all students, faculty and staff must be fully vaccinated before the start of the fall semester.

Students granted an exemption from COVID-19 vaccination must present a negative PCR test within five days of arriving on campus. Student exemption requests are due by today, July 6th.

Face masks

Quinnipiac University said there could be some classroom or laboratory settings, as well as university-sponsored meetings and events that require attendees to wear a mask and communicate the policy in advance.

Everyone must wear a mask when using the university shuttles.

Vaccination records

All students, lecturers. and employees must be fully vaccinated before the fall semester.

The deadline for uploading COVID-19 vaccination cards is August 1st.

Student exemption requests are due by today, July 6th.

Visitor Policy

Quinnipiac said visitors are allowed on campus and in all university buildings and facilities, including dormitories.

You must follow the school’s mask policy, which states that fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask, but non-vaccinated individuals must wear a mask for indoor events.

Students are accepted as overnight guests and guests provided they sign up with Residential Life.

Event capacity

Quinnipiac will lift capacity limits for university and student sponsored events and the number of spectators in athletics as long as virus rates remain low.

Dining rooms

All canteens at the university are again being used to full capacity.
