SSC CGL 2021-2022 discontinuation notification: The Personnel Selection Committee (SSC) uploads the SSC-CGL message December 23, 2021 (Thursday) for the years 2021 and 2022, according to SSC calendar 2022. From now on, only one online application will be invited to ssc.nic.in December 23, 2021 to January 23, 2021. Candidates whose applications are accepted will appear for the Tier 1 Online Combined Level Exam 2021 in April 2022. The exact date will be announced later on the SSC website.

SSC leads the CGL exam 2022 to fill various positions of group ‘B’ and group ‘C’ such as SI, tax assistant C, UDC, assistant, accountant, auditor, JSO, inspector, ASO, deputy audit officer etc. by ministries / departments / Organizations.

As the name suggests, completing the SSC CGL 2022 exam is mandatory. The age of the candidates should not be older than 30 years. However, according to Swiss Post, the minimum age is 18/20 years.

SSC CGL eligibility criteria

School qualification:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidates who appear in the final year of their graduation are also eligible.

Citizenship:

A candidate must either be:

  • a citizen of India, or
  • a subject from Nepal, or
  • a subject from Bhutan, or
  • a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962 for permanent settlement in India, or a person of Indian origin who immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of settling permanently in India.

SSC CGL selection process 2020-21

Candidates are recruited based on 4 exam sections

Step 1: SSC CGL Tier I Exam: It is an online exam for those who receive an application.

Level 2: SSC CGL Level 2 Exam: Candidates who qualify for Level 1 will appear for the Level 2 computer-based exam

Level 3: SSC CGL Tier-III: It is a pen-and-paper (descriptive paper) mode for those who graduate level 2.

Level 4: SSC CGL Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test / Data Entry Skill Test (if applicable) and document review

SSC CGL Tier 3

Essays / Precis / Letters / Applications etc. are written in English / Hindi in 1 hour. The score of the paper is 100. This test is of a qualifying nature.

SSC CGL Tier 4

Final candidates will receive a computer or skill test (if applicable) or a document review.

Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is conducted for the posts of Assistant Section Officer of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) at the Department of Corporate Affairs and Assistant (GSI.) In Ministry of Mining. There will be 3 modules:

  • Word processing,
  • Spreadsheet and
  • Creation of slides

The data entry speed test (DEST) is carried out for the position of the tax assistant (central consumption taxes). 8,000 key presses per hour on the computer are required.

SSC CGL admission ticket 2022

Admission cards for all levels will be released by the regional / subregional offices of the commission 3 to 7 days after the test has been carried out. Candidates can download the SSC CGL Admit Card from the relevant region for which they are applying.
