WSU cross-country races at the Roy Griak Invitational

ST. PAUL, Minnesota — The Winona State University men’s and women’s cross-country teams will compete in the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota today, September 23.

The men’s team will compete in the Men’s Maroon 8k at lunchtime at Les Bolstad Golf Course. The Warriors are one of 29 teams competing in the Men’s Maroon 8k.

Last year the men finished 14th overall and are looking to break into the top 10 today.

The women’s team will also run in the Women’s Maroon 6k at Les Bolstad Golf Course at 12:45pm. WSU will compete against 31 other teams for the crown.

Lindsay Cunningham was named a medalist at the Roy Griak a season ago and led the Warriors to fifth overall.
