PITT COUNTY, NC (WITN) — The Pitt County Department of Child Support Services plans to offer free confidential DNA testing.
The test, offered in support of Child Support Awareness Month, will be held Thursday, August 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pitt County Human Services Center at 203 Government Circle in Greenville
The department says all fees for DNA testing will be waived and that no appointment is required.
Test program requirements include:

- Parents are asked to bring a government-issued ID and birth certificate for each child.
- Participants must contact child support and applications will be accepted the same day. A $10.00 or $25.00 fee may apply.
