To become a UX researcher, you must have knowledge or experience in relevant fields such as marketing, cognitive science, psychology, economics, or information science. You must also be a good reader of people’s minds. You need to know how to assess people’s expectations and needs and empathize with the user. In addition, you must master the handling of data and analysis. After collecting user data, the UX researcher also works in close coordination with UX and UI designers, developers and product managers.
