There is a rare opportunity for someone with super talent, attunement and appropriate experience to join the frankie team in the role of digital editor + editor assistant who works both online and in print.
The right person has at least two years of paid work experience in media, journalism and sub-editing and will be happy to use their numerous talents throughout the editorial production process in print and digital to create relevant, compelling and engaging content while growing and developing of frankie’s digital platforms.
In this role you will:
- Working closely with the digital marketing manager and editor to create a digital strategy
- Monitoring frankie website growth and engagement including vertical small business Strictly Business
- Writing, editing and commissioning daily stories for the frankie website
- Coordination and dispatch of the weekly frankie e-newsletter and the monthly Strictly Business e-newsletter
- Uploading stories and updating the website through the CMS
- Report and analyze online statistics and share insights
- Assisted the editor in all aspects of the production of the magazine, including brainstorming, interviews, research, writing, image acquisition
- Take ownership as section editor as assigned (e.g. music)
- Representing frankie at industry or public events

- You have in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO
- You have experience in running Facebook advertising campaigns
